We love our chocolate brown. It’s the friendly neutral, in our opinion. Not as severe like black or as draining as tan, it’s always been an option. Too bad we aren’t as friendly to chocolate as it is to us. For whatever reason we dismiss it, like the black sheep in our family. We need to view it in a new light, for it has great potential. We have decided to pair it with Mediterranean blue for this week’s window.

So we have decided to change things up a bit with our weekly ‘On display’ post… (Since the sun doesn’t like to co-oporate with us and just HAS to come up and shine on a weird angle……)We have decided to gently coerce our Judy’s to wheel themselves over to the wall for their photo shoot.  They gave us a little attitute with the squeak of their century old wheels, but obliged us anyways. Please enjoy our bow themed window.

This week’s window is a perfect example of how to wear vintage. The matching jacket and dress were meant to be worn together, back in the 1960’s that is…..But today it would be a bit of an overkill. That’s why we have priced them individually, so that you can pick and choose or have both.  The jacket would be great over a blouse paired with pants, for say, din din with the friends?

The next one is identical, except in black Sold.  The third is a lovely black flap over purse with an inlay of gold chain on the toggle and the handle. It measures 9.5″ x 3.75″ x 6.5” Sold. The fourth is similar in design but with a bamboo handle. It measures 9.25″ x 3″ x 6.75” Sold.    The shorter the days and less sun means we can give you the rich colours you desire, especially red. You see red is a very frail pigment, and it fades easily when in the sun or window display of  180 Avenue Rd.  We are protective of our delicate sensitive reds until this time of year, but now they are free to show you their true colours!
