This week’s window features garments all made in the 1960’s, from the ‘British Crown Colony of Hong Kong’.  Back then, the more elaborate work, such as hand beading and sequining, was all done there. It boggles our minds how incredible and time consuming these couture pieces are. Each tiny sequin has been placed and stitched by hand! The lining is impeccably sewn and piped as well, some in silk.  The middle trench is our favorite, we have never seen anything quite like it. Eat your heart out Burberry!
