In life it’s always wise to take the high road, no matter how badly you want to give them a jab below the belt. So why not reward your classy self with one of these top notch Hermes belts? The reversible Constance belt in black and tan measures 1.25″ width and is 37.5″ length Sold. Please contact us for details, dahlings!
Cashmere Candies
Thursday, November 11th, 2010As the weather turns with a kiss of frost, what beckons more than the cozy call of cashmere? As tempting as candy and just as colourful, vintage cashmere is where it’s at! You see, today’s cashmere just isn’t up to par to these beauties. Back then they used the long fibres from the underside of the Kashmir goat, which resists pilling and is very durable. Cashmere today is shapeless and pills easily (after washing) because all lengths of hair are used. Come in and wrap yourself in comfort and luxury à la 1960’s Jackie Kennedy.
Them’s fierce fightin’ gloves!
Thursday, November 11th, 2010Should we ever find ourselves thrown back into the middle ages, and into a tiff with someone, we would hope to have these gauntlets. Who knows when you will hear the words ‘I challenge thee to a duel’? Even if our opponent had these Hermes gloves on, it would be such a treat for us to watch them slowly pull them off, finger by finger. We would definitely turn the other cheek just to have those lovely gold studs kiss our flesh! The sting would be worth it, just to see them up close, if only for a second…… Please contact us for details.

Thursday, November 11th, 2010We love ourselves a little black dress, now and again. LBD for short, but big on versatility. We always make sure that our stock is plump and full of them, so that our clients are spoiled for choice. This weeks window combines our love of hand beading and LBD’s, and together they are purely magical!

Monday, November 1st, 2010This week’s window features garments all made in the 1960’s, from the ‘British Crown Colony of Hong Kong’. Back then, the more elaborate work, such as hand beading and sequining, was all done there. It boggles our minds how incredible and time consuming these couture pieces are. Each tiny sequin has been placed and stitched by hand! The lining is impeccably sewn and piped as well, some in silk. The middle trench is our favorite, we have never seen anything quite like it. Eat your heart out Burberry!
