We’ve gotten in some incredible black tie appropriate gowns as of late. These frocks really come alive as soon as they are put on. We love how dark and vampy they are! The left is none other than Dior and is a bias cut silk chiffon so it’s a general size small. The centre trained silk satin gown is a size 4 and is attributed to Vera Wang sold. On the right is silk brocade Nina Ricci and is a size 2.

Last week’s window was a real hit, so we hope you’ll like this one just as much! We have many different decades happening in this pink and grey themed display. The left cotton print is from the 1950’s and is a size 0-2. The centerpiece (our fav) is a true size 4 as it fits the mannequin perfectly. On the right we have combined a contemporary XS Hervé Léger bandage dress (sold) with a 1960’s pink mink and ribbon jacket. Have a question? Just ask, and we will get back to you the same day!

Today we unveiled (pun intended) our fresh Vintage Bridal display. We often get many brides-to-be in and we are hearing how frustrating it is for them shopping at new bridal salons. Not to fear, the Meow Meow is here!  If contemporary designs just don’t do it for you, then try our alternative in the form of ‘something old’.

Left and right (sold) are both hand beaded from the 1960’s, size 8s. Centre tulle frock hails from the 1950’s and is a size 10. *All of our sizing is current with today’s standards.

A floral print in the spring is a no brainer, just like these frocks. Pair them with flats/kitten heels during the day and jack them up with some high heels for a cocktail (or two) later on. All are freshly picked from our 1950’s-1960’s garden out back.

Left 1950’s silk skirt is a size 8 sold, centre is a 6 and right is a 4 sold.

Paint the town red in one of these zebra striped ensembles, or just pair them with red accessories for a classic contrasting look. Left Leger’s asymmetrical dress is also marked  M for Marvelous (or medium). Contact us for more details.

Pistachio it up in one of these envy inducing little numbers! The double layer beaded Chanel on the left is a true confection. You can get a super close up view of the bead work over on our instagram here>. It’s a size 4. The 1960’s beaded silk chiffon gown in the centre is also a size 4. Hailing from the same decade we have a hand beaded raw silk cocktail dress in a size 8. Now you can literally go green in every sense of the word 🙂

Full & fluffy 50’s skirts are holding court in our window this week. And boy do they command attention! Fashionista bees are a buzz especially over that middle cotton lace wonder. We have paired it with a crinoline (sold separately in a range of colours and sizes) and a slip. It’s quite versatile as it could be worn over a mini skirt or some cropped leggings for that über chic look. It’s a size 6. On the left is a little size 0 black satin dress (Sold) paired with an Art Nouveau brass and Czech crystal belt sold. On the right stands a Rodolphe couture ribbon lace frock in a size 2-4 sold

This week we are all about 1960’s cocktail dresses. We have many new arrivals trickling in lately and these 3 are super fresh to us. Check out the walk away factor on that middle dress! It’s a about a size 8 sold. The left dress is a 2-4 and is sold separately from it’s matching jacket on the right (which is a size small).
