You can never go wrong in navy, it’s the next best neutral to black in our opinion. It’s also one of the most difficult colours to find out there in the retail world for some reason.

Colours aside, how to die for is that centre Chanel suit (sold)? Well you’ll be beyond after knowing that it is an original design from Mlle. Coco Chanel herself! That’s right folks, this beauty is a numbered couture peice dating from the 1960’s. The skirt has been altered into a mini (we know-so sacrilege) but it does make it much more contemporary and wearable. Most importantly,  the jacket is 100% original and stunning. It’s been awhile since we’ve had one of Mlle’s originals, but well worth the wait.

Our window also features a runway 1980’s Moschino necklace (sold) paired with a contemporary Louis Vuitton brocade, lace & tulle dress (sold) to the left. The matching LV jacket (sold) has been featured on the right mannequin overtop a silk bubble hem dress with corseted bodice. All clothing items are a size 4.

Back to black and we are super excited about the dress (sold)on the right…. She hails from the early 1960’s and is one of the first creations from the house of MISSONI!!! And, and, and it’s brand new with it’s original tags! (Totally geeked out over this peice when it arrived.) We feel so blessed that the vintage gods have rewarded us with one of their holy angels. We should also note the 1970’s Dior couture velvet jacket  (sold) in the middle- lined in silk and serial numbered.

This is our anarchistic pattern mash-up of a window. Somehow we find fluidity to it- like mixing sweet with salty. Consider it the visual version of a sea salted caramel bon bon. Surprisingly delightful, isn’t it?

We just realized how fashionably bipolar we must appear, going from a saturated magenta ‘pop’ of a window to these somewhat somber hues. Well we are all about contrast, and dressing according your mood. So when your next occasion requires more of a seriously chic look-we’ve got you covered.

This week we are a little tardy for the party with this posting, it’s been a whirl wind around here at the Meow Meow. Lot’s of new fall merchandise has hit the floor, including many purses and dresses. We will be posting about some new Vuittons early next week→so stay tuned. As for our new window, well it’s sweetly saturated with rich fall tones. Make your marvelous entrance in majestic magenta. (too mmmmmuch?)

We are feeling a little radical lately. So despite Labour Day’s passing, we have a full white window installation for you. Fashionably late or fashion rebel- call it what you may but we are really feeling it. All three items are super fresh arrivals, so stock up for 2015’s graduation or your next wedding.  (*Husband not included)

We realize this combo is a bit of a stretch, but we just had to put these beauties together in the window for you. We’ve entitled them “The Autumn Roses”. Lefty is a Ceil Chapman, Marilyn Monroe’s personal fav designer. She wore many of Chapman’s dresses for public appearances to show off her “assets”.  Iconic bombshell approved!

We are back to our ‘old’ selves this week, with a full vintage window for your peepers to peep at. As you can see, we’ve given up on having a real summer and are fully embracing the fall look now. So stock up on the hot cocoa and get ready to layer ladies. Doing your seasonal closet switch up soon? We are currently accepting in fall/winter items for consignment. So sorry we are tardy with this posting-we were on vacation up north last week… We are now refreshed and ready to give you the full fashion treatment you deserve. The current window features all contemporary designer outfits, a first for us! Today may be the hottest day on record this summer, but here at the Meow Meow-we are fully into fall mode.
