Fashionably late or fashion rebel- call it what you may but we are really feeling it. All three items are super fresh arrivals, so stock up for 2015’s graduation or your next wedding. We realize this combo is a bit of a stretch, but we just had to put these beauties together in the window for you. We’ve entitled them “The Autumn Roses”. Lefty is a Ceil Chapman, Marilyn Monroe’s personal fav designer. She wore many of Chapman’s dresses for public appearances to show off her “assets”. Iconic bombshell approved!
We are back to our ‘old’ selves this week, with a full vintage window for your peepers to peep at. As you can see, we’ve given up on having a real summer and are fully embracing the fall look now. So sorry we are tardy with this posting-we were on vacation up north last week… We are now refreshed and ready to give you the full fashion treatment you deserve. The current window features all contemporary designer outfits, a first for us! Today may be the hottest day on record this summer, but here at the Meow Meow-we are fully into fall mode.

This week’s window installation is sage coloured, as a friendly & subtle reminder for us all to be a little more green.
It’s finally August, and it’s not going to get any hotter than this kittens. So leave the dark & heavy tones for fall and kick your heels up in a light and frothy hue. Grab one of our hand beaded 1960’s dresses (centre & left) or the contemporary Ferreti on the right for that event. Take the high road in cream and rise to the top.
When times are tough, who do you lean on? One may discover a new friend when life throws them a curve ball. Someone you may have never thought would become so important to you becomes your ‘true blue’ buddy. Interesting fact; ‘True blue’ is supposed to derive from the blue cloth that was made at Coventry, England in the late middle ages. The town’s dyers had a reputation for producing material that didn’t fade with washing, that is, it remained ‘fast’ or ‘true’. So now you know 🙂
These outfits are as busy as the bees this time of year. Whether or not you’re one for wearing patterns, you have to appreciate a great print when you see one. How tongue-in-cheek is that centre Moschino blazer? It would be a fabulous statement if one were to wear it into a courtroom as if to say ‘c’mon, hit me with your best shot’! Whatever you do, do not wear it while strolling by an archery, dart board, or firing range…
