Red and pink are one of our favorite colour combos out there. This wasn’t always the case though. We used to have much disdain for the pairing and then all of a sudden our hate turned into love. It’s funny how things change, isn’t it?

Cancel that appointment with your optometrist, because seeing these spots is a  good thing. The middle Oscar de la Renta dress is flanked by two cool cotton 1950’s pop prints that are ready to see the sights.

How sweet is this cerise window?  The petal 1950’s taffeta number in the middle does steal the show, if that’s what you’re after… But  if not, she is flanked by two wonderfully wearable silk floral prints that can be easily dressed up or down. Options; we’ve got ’em!

It’s (almost) official, spring has arrived.  In keeping with the seasons, we have switched over our stock. Crisp cottons, pretty prints and overall  fabulous frocks that we have been stashing away all winter have now hit the floor.

P.S. How bubblelicious is that early Anne Klein on the left?!?

This post is graphic, and is intended for stylishly mature audiences only.  Visually bold and chic, this window is what 1950’s & 1960’s prints are all about.

This week’s window is a real mash up! Judy on the left is wearing a true 1920’s flapper girl dress. Centre gal is a donning a 1950’s tulle frock. And righty is all a frill in her contemporary Viktor & Rolf blazer. The accent of heamatite beading is present throughout these decades.

We want to take a moment a give our lovely and talented Lisa Eknes some recognition. She is the guru who puts together our window displays each and every week. Her knack with colour and merchandising we applaud . She is truly worth her weight in gold. Thanks Lisa!

Happy Valentines Day everyone. That said, we are already feeling spring in our window this week. How Eastery is the centre beauty? Comprised of sequins, beads, paillettes, crystals and hand embroidered raffia, the workmanship on this 1960’s shift is beyond exquisite! Take a zoom on in to better appreciate it.

We are totally in LOVE with our Valentine (‘s day window)!  How incredible is that middle dress? It’s a Nina Ricci circa 1950 and it has us swooning over it. Happy Valentine’s day everybody!
