Nelly’s night

Thursday, December 4th, 2014

The German Sustainability Awards were held on November 28th, with guest Nelly Furtado in attendance. She graced the red carpet in a hand sequined 1960’s emerald gown from The Cat’s Meow. Later on in the evening she also rocked out in our 1960’s brocade dress and received an award for her help & support of the me to we foundation. Congrats Nelly!

Nelly Furtado’s new video, “Waiting for the Night” is out. See it here; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88dLLDrVOwg

Many of her outfits worn in the video are from a recent treasure hunt she had with us here, at The Cat’s Meow. Thanks again Nelly!

Chanel 1980’s open weave/lattice black straw hat.

1980’s Chanel navy and lilac silk taffeta cocktail dress.

1950’s black wool and taffeta ‘fin’ dress.

Nelly nailed it!

The flawless Nelly Furtado graced the red carpet of the 2012 Latin Grammy Person of the Year Tribute at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas last night.

Choosing The Cat’s Meow vintage for her evening attire,  she dazzled in a 1960’s silk chiffon gray ombre dress with diamonte belt. Her accessories included our 1950’s snowflake crystal earrings with a  1930’s silver mesh clutch. Absolute perfection!

Thanks Cat!

Nelly likes the Meow Meow

Thursday, August 16th, 2012

The beautiful Nelly Furtado recently wore two dresses from The Cat’s Meow. The first was a flirty 1950’s rose print cotton frock cinched with a gold mesh belt. She wore  this ensemble to Self Magazine’s ‘Rock The Summer’ at Kiss & Fly, NY July 24.  Also, recently on ‘Watch What Happens Live’, she decided to wear a 1960’s hand sequined dress with copper belt. We are HUGE fans of Nelly and anticipate her new album coming out next month!

We just got word that the lovely (and even more beautiful in person) Cat Deeley toted a hand-embroidered silk art deco clutch, that she acquired from us recently. It was a great addition to her gorgeous cobalt gown, that she wore to the Creative Arts Primetime Emmy Awards . Thanks for your patronage Cat!
