We’re getting ready for your Spring events with these contrasting cream and black frocks. Our centre sailor style dress is from Zac Posen’s very first collection (2002) and was seen on Nathalie Portman at the premier of “Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones”. To the right is a fabulous 1990’s silk chiffon gown with hand beading that has since lost it’s label, so it’s a bit of a mystery to us, but fabulous nonetheless. Over on the left is a regal Oscar de la Renta floral print silk chiffon gown with a stunning feather hem and train. More details below.

We’re in bloom this week and even have some butterflies swirling about. Our centre silk Chinese robe dates from 1910 and is truly exquisite! It’s completely hand embroidered with people, flowers and best of all, BUTTERFLIES! The dramatic dolman sleeves will make you want to dance and it’s closures are adorned with gorgeous gold gilt ball buttons. As you move the powder blue silk lining will peek out along the edges like an elegant whisper! This wearable piece of art is in good company with gowns by Oscar and Missoni.

On the right, Dolce & Gabbana offers a figure-hugging piece with a stretchy, soft silk lining that feels as good as it looks.

We’re heating things up here for Valentine’s day with a window full of red hot mommas. We instantly fell in love with the centre Valentino gown when we saw it’s strappy cutout back, see pic below?! It hails from 2000 and is made of swooshy silk taffeta that creates a floating look when worn. More details below on all these lovelies.

We are absolutely ecstatic to showcase to you an ICON of a dress! Our centre Alexander McQueen is from his very last collection in 2010, titled Plato’s Atlantis. The show was groundbreaking and changed the future of fashion with many of it’s pieces now living in museums worldwide. Our version is truly a work of wearable art and we feel very fortunate to have it in house for you.

You asked for gowns and we’ve got ’em with more on the way! Here’s a sampling of what’s in store. The Judy on the right is wearing a rare Chanel from the 1970’s and it comes with a matching jacket for those wanting coverage. Her purse is kinda iconic too… Lefty Lucy sports a Claude Montana with corsetry seams and back pockets. Cinching her in is a charming Celine belt hailing from 1989. The centre confection is none other than Oscar and features a gorgeous ruffled train. We’ve paired it with a super duper long vintage 1970’s chain necklace.
