I felt it was only appropriate to follow up last week’s Santa red window with this festive green one. Are you familiar with the line ‘but not a real green dress that’s cruel’ from the Barenaked Ladies’ tune If I had $1000000? Well this song has been on repeat in my head all afternoon while dressing the mannequins. I would like to disagree with this lyric as green is a flattering colour on many different skin tones. Also, in some cultures, it’s considered a lucky colour to wear as it denotes money and good fortune. Besides anyways, this is coming from band members who named themselves after nude women! They have zero fashion podium upon which to stand and critic, in my not-so-humble opinion.

"It’s Bottega Baby"

Bottega Veneta is one of our favorite brands here at The Cat’s Meow. Their woven lambskin leather purses are like butta! These quietly luxurious bags are also quite durable against everyday wear and tear. The brand had a slogan that they use to print on all of their dust bags, it reads; “Bottega Veneta, When your own initials are enough” How chic-ly empowering is that!?! See our current selection below and contact us for more details.

So our Golden Girls window last week went a little viral over on our Instagram account. Don’t know the ins and outs of why or how but we had over 479 likes on it. That’s huge for us! I’m hoping this Santa red display has the same effect on people. But alas, I have a confession to make… As soon as the Dior on the left got wheeled into place it got snatched up by one of our regulars.  If you’re a Dior loving size 2-4, so sorry for the tease.
