We normally like to give you a silver window to ring in the new year with, but these coppertone babies were just crying to get in.  We decided to rewarded bad behaviour and so here they are. Hope you all have a great time this weekend saying goodbye to 2016. Looking forward to serving you with all your designer and vintage needs (wants, lets be real) in 2017!! Thank-you for another fun year kittens!

Glitter the night away like the golden goddess that you are this holiday season! We are absolutely smitten with fall! Every year it seems to woo us more and more. The crisp weather means layers, jackets, boots and our fav; accessories. This window is just a teaser for what’s in store. You can find woolen day dresses, cropped fur jackets, cashmere cardigans, cross body purses and tweed coats all to swaddle yourself in.

This week our lefty lady is sporting a contemporary Mugler wool mini skirt (size 4) with a 1970’s YSL plaid silk blouse (size S). The ensemble is topped with a 1950’s black cashmere & tan mink cardigan (size M). Front and centre ‘Suzy’ has on a 1960’s eyelash wool dress (size 6) paired with a 1950’s cropped embellished wool cardigan Sold(Size S-M). Righty ‘Ruthy’ has on a very chic early 1970’s black wool skirt suit with brown beaver fur trim Sold. The skirt is a size 0 while the jacket is more of a 2-4, paired with an Hermes scarf.

We have been wanting to do a purple window for you kittens for a while now,  and today is the day for the powerful hue to reign. We are forever inspired by Dame Elizabeth Taylor,  one whose favorite colours were purple and lavender. They are the colours of royalty, and that she was-Hollywood royalty. Her eyes were a rare violet and wearing this deep rich shade, we’re sure, made her eyes pop and sparkle. Pick purple for your next event and do the Dame.

Taupe & gold paired with black will inhabit our window for this week. The centre 1950’s silk and gold thread brocade swing jacket is reversible! Don’t you just love it when you get two looks for the price of one?  We’ve paired it with a contemporary YSL belt for that chic evening look.
