Spring has now sprung kittens so we’ve loaded up the window with lots of lavender and lilac for you to smell with your eyes. If you love florals and pastels then we have a full bouquet happening here at the Meow Meow. Too many new arrivals for us to showcase in the window so you’ll just have to swing on by.

Super excited to showcase these three black tie looks for you!  The centre gown has lost it’s label over the years but that doesn’t stop her bead encrusted brilliance from shinning through. We’ve never had a dress this densely beaded before. When worn, it looks as though one has been dipped in black paint. It’s truly too fab for words.

This is supposed to be a green display for St. Patrick’s day, right? Well I felt like being a tricky little leprechaun by switching things up this year, just to keep you on your toes. Who needs that Irish pot ‘o’ gold anyways when you can be all flashy in these Italian labels that you know and love?!

How elegant are these three Art Deco Japanese silk kimonos?!? Throw one on over a t-shirt, jeans and some booties for that boho look or over a simple cocktail dress for a night out. Belted or un-belted; they are simply DIVINE!

Since winter refuses to go away we would like to take this opportunity and showcase some of the coats that have come in recently. The Jean-Louis Scherrer Couture cape on the right hails from 1981 and is as classic as all hell, but la pièce de résistance is our centre coat. It’s from YSL’s 1976 Russian Collection is absolutely, certifiably,  worth dying for. She’s museum quality, in pristine condition, and to top it all off she has pom poms!

The last couple of weeks the windows have been super label heavy so we decided to pull a 180 and do an all vintage window. You know, just to balance out the universe a little bit. You likey? It’s making the pedestrians smile and someone even put a fuzzy heart sticker on the pane. Guess that makes it “golden” then? 😉

Love is in the air and our window for Valentine’s day. What could be more lovely than a pink wool bouclé Chanel suit? Well we’ve got two of them and the sweetheart on the right is couture from the 1950’s. She comes with some provenance as well as she once belonged to a model that worked for the house of Chanel. Rumour has it that while Mlle Coco herself was doing a fitting on her that she actually pinched her nipple! Intentional or not we may never know, but love is love.

We’re serving up an all designer black & white dish of a window this week. A fab yet cheap and cheerful McQ dress holds centre stage flanked by two instantly recognizable Alaïas. Which one is your fav? We are loving the “tabs” that trim the left Alaia.
