If you really think about it, all life can be broken down into numbers. It’s an OCD view of the world, but it’s true. Time, calories, weight, money, etc. Coco Chanel’s favorite number was 5. When naming her new perfume in 1920, Chanel told her master perfumer: “I present my dress collections on the fifth of May, the fifth month of the year and so we will let this sample number five keep the name it has already, it will bring good luck.”
